glamorous café located on Hipólito Yrigoyen
Avenue in Cordoba, to present its Language Usage
Handbook and Style Guide. The
meeting was a complete success: Delsur linguists

high tea followed by a wine-tasting event. Not
only language style…
The global
marketplace has changed considerably in the
past few years, especially for the
translation industry. Argentina has become
one of the leading countries that provide
translation services, due mainly to the
excellent professionals produced by its
universities. Cordoba is home to the School
of Languages, National University of
Cordoba, which offers a five-year course of
studies in translation. The School of
Languages is known worldwide for the solid
education its students receive. Its many
graduates have become a great pool of
translators for agencies and language
companies to draw on when they offer their
products and services to the local market.
IMTT have been organizing training events for language
service professionals and business owners since 1999.
We invite all companies to participate and take
advantage of our 5th Language & Technology
Conference to be held in Cordoba,
Argentina, on August 18-20, 2007.
The most innovative training event in
Latin America offering the opportunity to network
with industry-related people, learn about the new
developments in software, tools and management as
well as an environment of collaboration to share
knowledge and promote services.
Why sponsor?
Latin America is your future client/vendor. In order
to be able to market your products and/or services
appropriately, you need to KNOW your client. This is
your chance for you to get to know them and for you
to promote your company and increase your business.
Who attends?
Freelance translators, translation
and localization companies in general, in-house
staff, business owners, language professionals,
software developers, among others.
